EA FC 24 Euro 2024 update release date

The EA FC 24 Euro update was released on June 6. The update arrives just a week before the tournament kicks off in Germany, bringing the European football fever to the game.

EA FC 24 Euro 2024 modes

EA FC 24 Euro 2024 is a free DLC update that brings the 24 qualified national teams to the game, alongside their authentic kits, badges, official squads, and more.

Here’s a breakdown of all the ways you can experience the Euros in EA FC 24:

Kick Off

Not much explanation is needed for Kick Off, as EA FC 24 players can quickly jump into an individual match using the Kick Off option and play against friends locally or against the CPU AI. The option offers a quick way to immerse yourself in the Euro 2024 experience.

Kick Off will also include a Match of the Day fixture that will be updated with every real-life tournament matchday up to the final.

UEFA Euro 2024 tournament mode

The EA FC 24 UEFA Euro 2024 tournament mode lets players select a team of their choice and go all the way into the competition. Besides authentic teams, the mode also features official broadcast packages, the match ball, and the coveted trophy.

Additionally, the mode also offers an option to set up a custom tournament, which lets you tweak the various groups to your liking, and even add unqualified teams to the competition.

Lead Your Nation

Lead Your Nation in EA FC 24’s Euro 2024 works similarly to the Player Career mode allowing individual players to create a custom Avatar or star in their favorite team using an existing player. The goal remains the same; triumph in Berlin.

In Lead Your Nation, you’ll be able to play through the stages, complete training drills, and earn up to seven PlayStyles.

Online Friendlies

EA FC 24 players can experience the Euro 2024 final through Online Friendlies. These will grant them the opportunity to use any of the 24 qualified teams or any other European national squad available in the game to compete for the coveted trophy against other players online.

EA Sports confirmed that cross-play will be available for players on the same platform generation.

EA FC 24 Euro 2024 Ultimate Team

As with every massive real-life football event, Ultimate Team has received a ton of Euro 2024-themed content. Chief among them are two new promos: Greats of the Game and Path to Glory.

Both promos bring special player items to the game mode that will be affected by the tournament’s results. While PTG is focused on currently active players, Greats of the Game highlights the Heroes and Icons who’ve lit up the competition over the years. All of these cards are also eligible for upgrades if certain requirements are met.
